I'm going to preface this next statement by saying that Summer is definitely my favorite time of year. But as Fall approaches and there is a slight chill in the air at night I must admit I'm starting to get really excited for the lazy days of Autumn and the first snow-fall! Grey is the perfect base color for creating a gorgeous palate of warm and neutral tones for a Fall or Winter wedding.  Try incorporating this beautiful neutral into your flowers, bridesmaid's dresses, or even desserts!

There is just something about this beautiful flower that gets me everytime - maybe it's the delicate petals, maybe it's the perky way each bloom sits on it's stem, or maybe it's the super dark purple center that makes it all pop. Whatever it is, I think this may just be my new favorite flora!

Summer is almost over, so sad......but here in the mountains the sun is still going strong! Parasols are the perfect beautiful accessory to protect your skin from harsh rays while looking adorable at the same time. It's all a matter of either a chandelier here or a polished vase there and you can achieve the perfect look. It's no secret that I'm in love with Ombre - it's just something about this style of color fusion that I've fallen head over heels for! I think it's the soft transition of color from a light faded shade into a super vibrant and colorful one that I just can't get enough of - whether it's in the shade of flowers, the table decor, or a sly surprise in the cake layers, I highly recommend weaving this brilliant idea into your decor!

Today's inspiration is the epitome of summer's essence - lemon and mint! What's not to love about the bright burst of lemons with a cooling touch of mint? It's the perfect summer love affair and the colors mesh brilliantly. Make sure to have loads of fresh lemonade for your guests to cool off with and if you add bright lemon cupcakes with a mint ribboned cake it's a match made in heaven!
