Sugar - what's not to love? I have a personal love affair with the sweet substance and love pretty much every.single.form of it. But there is something about the light, sweet, almost air-like consistency of a macaron that tops all other confections. And with it's slightly almond scented flavor it's almost something magical! Not to mention it comes in an array of colors, and would fit perfectly at home on any dessert bar. Yum!
